Soil-powered Terrarium Kit
An Earthlight™ Lantern for your little utopian plant world in a jar.
Keep tabs on your terrarium in style-!
This one-of-a-kind kit will be offered for regular retail if there is enough demand.
Here we have an Earthlight™ circuit powering a warm LED with a frosted, diffusing lantern housing on it. The circuit and LED is affixed to the top of the jar (with holes to reduce risk of mold) and the wires run down into the soil, covered up by a butterfly.
Underneath the locally gathered mosses that make up my terrrarium, the same anode and cathode that you find on Earthlight™ is laid out horizontally in this case to reduce the needed soil depth. The soil is abound with biochar and compost tea to light the LED brightly. Due to the consistent moisture of terrarium enviromnets, the lantern stays lit for extended periods of time without needing any extra moisture or special care. The prototype unit lasted a few months without any maintenance and only required 1 light watering which was indicated by the LED.
Turn a regular tiny terrarium village into a magical green energy one! Your little utopian citizens (and plants) will thank you. Show what Earthlight™ can really do with a touch of class.
