The Crystal Candle is a simple Crystal Cell with a miniaturized special circuit and solar panel on it. The circuit activates when the solar panel stops receiving sufficient light, and turns on the colored LED.

Instead of replacing batteries, simply add a few drops of distilled water to the crystal material when the light grows dim, and the cell will begin to recharge, returning the LED to full brightness. Repeat when necessary.
